Moody’s assigns B2/NP/E+/A3.ru ratings to KIT Finance Investment Bank (Russia)
Moody’s Investors Service has assigned the following global scale ratings to KIT Finance Investment Bank (”KIT”): B2 long-term and Not-Prime short-term foreign currency and local currency deposit ratings and an E+ bank financial strength rating (”BFSR”).
The outlook for the ratings is stable. At the same time, Moody’s Interfax Rating Agency, which is majority-owned by Moody’s, has assigned an A3.ru long-term National Scale Rating (”NSR”) to KIT.
According to Moody’s and Moody’s Interfax (”Moody’s”), the B2/NP global scale ratings reflect KIT’s global default and loss expectation, while the A3.ru NSR reflects the standing of the bank’s credit quality relative to its domestic peers. — www.theasianbanker.com (December 27 2007)–
