KTC pleased with positive performance in 2007 amidst economic downturn.
Net profit of 521 Million Baht, total member base of 1.94 million accounts and earning per share of 2.02 Baht
KTC announces performance as of end of 2007: net profit of 521 Million Baht and total revenue of 10,701 Million Baht or 19% and 32% growth over the earlier year respectively, as well as total member base of over 1.94 million accounts primarily due to the growth of credit card and cash revolve portfolios.
Greater revenue from credit card business achieved with the raise of interest rate from 18% to 20%. Growth of total revenue exceeds increase in risen sales and managerial expenses. Network of partners help shoulder marketing costs and bring unique and relevant benefits to a wide array of clients. Whereas, the Board of Directors’ Meeting approved the declaration of the dividends to the shareholders at the rate of Baht 1.20 per 1 ordinary share and dividend yield at 5.48%. The firm will continue to make a difference in 2008 and stay at the top of the game with distinctively segmented products, creative marketing campaigns involving the large member base, and, the option of using reward points in place of cash to redeem products and services more quickly and conveniently.
