HSBC announces senior appointment in Global Markets, Singapore
HSBC has announced the appointment of Amit Gupta as Managing Director, Head of Global Markets, Singapore, with effect from 1 April, succeeding John McGowan who will be retiring in June this year. Mr Gupta will report to Guy Harvey-Samuel, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Singapore and functionally to Gordon French, Managing Director for Sales and Regional Treasury Management in Asia Pacific, who is based in Hong Kong.

Amit has been instrumental in developing a successful multi-product sales platform business network in a highly competitive environment.
